Besides a competitively priced collection of short courses, Bournemouth University (BU) offers a range of funding opportunities to support your studies.
Each short course will be either £85 for a half day course or £175 for one full day. Group rates also apply for our team-building activities (£750 per team, of 4-5 people).
You will be required to pay for your course in full when making your booking.
The cost of each BYOMA short course is £800 (or £1000 for short courses delivered in collaboration with the BBC Academy).
However to reward your loyalty, having taken one short course, you will be entitled to a promotional discounted rate for further short courses (until further notice). This discounted rate is £850 for short courses delivered in collaboration with the BBC Academy.
A 15% deposit is required for each BYOMA short course and is payable within two weeks of receipt of your offer of a place on a course or one week prior to the start date, whichever date is sooner. Deposits for late applications will be considered on an individual basis The balance of the fee is payable on enrolment or in two instalments; the first of which should be made on/before enrolment and the second half way through the course.
Further Discounts
A 5% discount is available for all BYOMA short course students who pay the full fee prior to or at enrolment. BU graduates who enrol will be eligible for a 15% discount on the course fee (this discount does not apply to short courses charged at the promotional discounted rate).
Scholarships
BU offers a range of Postgraduate Scholarships for which students can apply (subject to application criteria). In order to qualify as a postgraduate student you must be enrolled on 3 or more short courses (i.e. the Postgraduate Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma or full MA)
Sponsorship
Many of our professional students receive funding from their employer. If your organisation is prepared to pay for your studies, you will need to complete a Sponsorship form.
